Learnathon 3.0: From Learners to Builders – Final Chapter Unfolds

After four months of relentless learning and project-building, Learnathon 3.0 concluded with a vibrant closing ceremony, celebrating a new generation of developers ready to make their mark.

Organized by Geeky Solutions and proudly sponsored by Brain Station 23, the program wasn’t just another student event—it was a direct response to a recurring concern in the tech industry: the readiness of fresh graduates.

From more than a hundred initial teams, 163 groups qualified, and 67 teams completed the journey, delivering real-world software solutions across seven high-demand technology stacks. With mentorship from 60+ industry experts, participants worked in Java, .NET, MERN, Python, PHP, Flutter, and Unity—mirroring the challenges of modern tech workplaces.

This year’s Learnathon saw unprecedented collaboration from leading tech firms including BRAC IT, Vivasoft Limited, Cefalo, Inument, Enosis Solutions, Orbitax Bangladesh, and Craftsmen.

Notably, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) secured placements in two different stacks—a proud moment reflecting the consistency and caliber of their students.

🏆 Code Warriors from Islamic University of Technology not only topped the Java stack, but also emerged as the overall champion of Learnathon 3.0, earning a total of 150,000 BDT—including 100,000 BDT as the grand prize and 50,000 BDT for securing 1st position in their stack. Each stack’s first-place winners received 50,000 BDT, while runner-ups were awarded 15,000 BDT.

With its humble beginnings in 2022, Learnathon’s first edition was backed by Orbitax Bangladesh, followed by Vivasoft Limited in 2.0. In its third iteration, the initiative matured into a full-fledged talent accelerator, connecting students to industry expectations like never before.

Participants didn’t just build apps—they built resumes. And to ensure transparency and open learning, source codes of the submitted projects are available publicly on GitHub.

As Learnathon 3.0 wraps up, it leaves behind not just winners, but a wave of future-ready developers—confident, capable, and committed to building the next big thing.
